The forthcoming free app

ExtPress™. Your activity, recorded clearly.

ExtPress™ is the app, and it is currently in development. It will bring CECS information, an exercise and pain diary, and records for each leg into one place. You can arrange a clinic assessment now without waiting for the app.

Planned diary features.

Planned exercise diary

Your exercise and pain diary

The planned diary will let you start and stop an activity, record the exercise performed and log the exact point when pain begins. You will be able to record the location and severity of pain, associated symptoms and when symptoms settle after stopping, then review entries over time.

Until the app is available, simple notes about time, distance, intensity and the response to rest can help you prepare for a clinical conversation.

1

Start the activity

Record the exercise you chose.

2

Notice the onset

Log the exact time or distance when pain begins.

3

Record the symptoms

Location, severity and associated sensations.

4

Review the rest response

When symptoms settle after stopping.

Planned records for each leg

Separate measurements for each leg

Planned measurement records will include:

Measurements and ratios support assessment; they do not establish a diagnosis.

01

Calf circumference and thigh circumference.

02

Leg length and thigh length.

03

Before- and after-exercise measurements.

04

Separate entries for the left and right leg.

05

Thigh-to-calf ratios and changes after exercise, calculated from submitted measurements.

Planned clinical section

Reviewed clinical records during your pathway

A planned locked clinical section will become accessible when you enrol in the clinic pathway, using an activation code linked securely to your account. MRI reports, blood results, pressure measurements, consultation summaries, treatment plans and follow-up information will be added as they become available and are reviewed.

You will be able to enter the clinic pathway directly without using ExtPress™.

Common questions

Can I download ExtPress™ now?

ExtPress™ is currently in development. The planned app will be free. There is no download or account activation available on this website at present.

Do I need the app to arrange an assessment?

No. The clinic team can arrange your pathway directly. You can start with the symptom questionnaire and bring ordinary exercise and symptom notes.

Will measurements in the app diagnose CECS?

No. The diary, measurements and calculated ratios support the clinical assessment. Professor Lee interprets your symptoms, examination and investigation findings together.
